"SALT WAR"

Synopsis:

John Tays returns to El Paso after the Civil War, to face those who called him a coward for siding with the Federal troops.  Joining the Texas Rangers, he is assigned to protect an unscrupulous judge involved in a deadly feud over the rights to a salt flat. After the judge is murdered by a band of Mexicans, Tays must contend with a bloodthirsty posse, hell bent on revenge for the crooked judge's death. Once again faced with a conflict between a sense of duty and honor, Tays has to decide if upholding the law is true justice.

Finally Tays takes justice into his own hands.

" LAJITAS"

Synopsis:

Set in 1889 west Texas, two retired Texas Rangers face the challenge of a powerful Mexican general who holds an old friend for ransom.

In a wild scheme to lure the Mexican into Texas, the two devise a plan to rob the general's bank in Ojinaga with the help of revolutionaries fighting against him.  The raid on the bank ends in a bloody shoot out but the Texans manage to get away with a bag full of the Mexican's money.  They make it across the border and wait for the general to come to them with the hostage.

The plan backfires on the ex-Rangers when the Mexican sends his men into the tiny village of Lajitas, Texas with orders to kill everyone and recover his money.  After a fierce gun battle, the two manage to rescue their friend and eventually dupe the general into returning to Mexico with a bag full of bogus bank notes.

"THE SCALP HUNTERS"

Synopsis:

Set in 1850 Mexico, Ben Leaton, disgusted with the slaughter of Indians leaves a band of cut-throat scalp hunters to pursue his love, the daughter of a rich Chihuahua rancher.  Framed by the father in a rigged bank holdup, Leaton manages to escape with the woman to Texas where they set up a trading post in an abandoned fort.  The scalpers track the couple to the fort,  intent on claiming the bounty placed upon the man's head by the Mexican government. In a climatic ending, the man and his friends manage to kill all of the scalp hunters and survive.
